Abstract: Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the best role model for all mankind. He infused justice, love, equality, humanity and dignity in all those around him. The most distinctive quality of our beloved Prophet (PBUH) was that he was a blessing to all of Allah’s creatures. Prophet (PBUH) once asked: “Do you love your Creator? Then love your fellow beings first”. Once companions (RA) asked what actions are most excellent. Prophet (PBUH) replied “To cheer the heart of human beings, to feed the hungry, to help the people in trouble, to ease the sorrow of the sorrowful, and to remove the sufferings of the injured.”
Prophet (PBUH) always loved to greet the children, showed them affection and joking with them. Once he saw a group of children who were racing. He joined them and raced with them. Anas ibn Malik said that I never saw anyone who was more compassionate towards children than Allah’s Messenger (PBUH).
Prophet (PBUH) taught us to care the old people irrespective of their gender, color, or religion. Prophet (PBUH) said, “If a young man honors an old man on account of his age, Allah appoints someone to honor him in his old age”. Prophet (PBUH) also said that “He is not one of us who shows no mercy to younger ones and does not give honor to our elders”
Prophet (PBUH) was very kind to animals as well. He (PBUH) stated: “Verily, there is heavenly reward for every act of kindness done to a living animal”. Prophet (PBUH) also said that”Fear Allaah in your treatment of animals.”
The Prophet (PBUH) ordered Muslims to treat the poor with respect and dignity. He (PBUH) said: “He is not a perfect Muslim who eats well and his neighbors go hungry”. Prophet (PBUH) also totally changed the meanings of slavery. Anas (RA) said: “I served Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) for ten years. When I made mistakes, He even did not ask me “Why did you do that?
In Muslim society of Madinah non-Muslim had complete independence. Once when the funeral of a Jew was passing, the Prophet (PBUH) stood up as a mark of respect for the dead. Sahaba also did so. Later, sahaba said: “O Messenger of Allah! It was the jinazah of a Jew! He responded: “Is he not also a human?”. The prayer which Prophet (PBUH) made against his severest enemies was as follows: “O my Lord! They …
Abstract: Islam gave true and due rights to women 1400 years ago when there was
ignorance and darkness. Islam uplifted the status of the women in a society.
In Islam spiritually both men and women are equal. There are certain non-Islamic
religions like Christianity that put the blame only on mother Havva “Eve” (Alaihis
Salaam), who forced Adam to eat the forbidden fruits in Jannah and according to
Christianity all human beings are born in sins because of Mother Havva. But Quran
put the blame of eating forbidden fruits equally on man and woman, on Adam as
well as on Havva.
Believing men and believing women are supporters of one another not only socially
but also politically. Women have also obligation to spread the message of Allah
and His Prophet (PBUH). They have also right to vote.
Islam gave economic rights to women 1400 years ago, 1300 years before the
Western world. In Islam, any adult women whether married or un-married, she was
allowed to own or dis-own her property without the permission of anyone else. If
women works by following the Islamic Sharia then whatever she earns, she need
not to spend on her family. She can keep all of her earning for herself. In Islam
during marriage, women are also on the receiving end.
Prophet (PBUH) said, “It is obligatory on every Muslim to acquire knowledge”.
The Prophet (PBUH) specially told the parents to educate their children specially
their daughters. We have examples of many women 1400 years ago who were
highly educated, learned and scholars in both religious and worldly knowledge.
With the advent of Islam, the darkness of that era vanished and Allah enjoined
kindness, love and compassion towards girls. Prophet (PBUH) also said, “Anyone
who up-brings two daughters with love and affection, and also did not favor his
sons over daughters, he shall enter into Jannah”.
Most of the other religions besides Islam consider women as an instrument of devil
but Quran refers women as a “Mohsina” means a fortress against devil. The Prophet
(PBUH) said: “Among the Muslims the most perfect, as regards his faith, is the one
whose character is excellent, and the best among you are those who treat their
wives well. Prophet (PHUB) said, “Among you the most respectable is the one who
respects women and the most disrespect is the one who …

One of the special gifts that Allah (swt) has blessed the Muslim Ummah is a specific time of the Islamic Calendar. During this time period, acts of obedience and worship are extremely advantageous. And with every year this time period visit different seasons with the lunar cycle. Allah announces a sale, special tilbud of mercy, blessings and presenting gift of great rewards during these seasons.
Abu Hurairah relates that the Messenger of Allaah (PBUH) said, “There are no days more loved to Allah for you to worship Him therein than the ten days of Dhul Hijja. Fasting any day during it is equivalent to fasting one year and to offer salatul tahajjud (late-night prayer) during one of its nights is like performing the late night prayer on Lailatul Qadr.”
Another virtue of the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah is that the Day of ARAFA (9th day of Dhull Hijja). The Day of ARAFA is a great day during which Allah frees many of his worshippers from the fire of Hell. The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: “There is no day during which Allah frees more worshippers from the fire of Hell than during the day of ARAFA”.
“Udhiya”, sacrificing of animals is also obligatory in other religions. Allah ordered the obligation of “Udhiya” in the same way as Allah ordered Fasting.
The sacrifice of a healthy and well-cared for animal has great great rewards in the eyes of Allah. Hazrat Ayesha reports that the Prophet (PBUH) said,”The son of Adam does not perform any actions on the day of sacrifice which is more pleasing to Allah than the shedding of blood. The sacrificed animal shall come on the Day of Judgment with its horns, hair, and hooves. The sacrifice is accepted by Allah before the blood reaches the ground – (Tirmizi).
In another hadith Prophet (PBUH) said “Whoever has the capacity to sacrifice (animal) and does not do so, should not come to the place where the Eid prayer is offered.”…
Muslims, who believe in Day of Judgment, regard the world as a place of test, and consider life as the limited time assigned for the completion of this test. Owing to this sense of responsibility and associated feelings, true Muslims behave seriously and responsibly throughout their life, just like the student who is taking an examination paper with his entire attention on it, with mind, body, and soul. It is, therefore, not suited to a Muslim to be involved in the exchange of abusive words, back-biting, lying, listening to dirty songs and indecent talks. The Prophet (PBUH) once said, “Allah has forbidden for you, to be undutiful to your mothers, not to pay the rights of the others And Allah has hated for you to involve in vain, useless talk, or that you talk too much about others, (Allah disliked) to ask too many questions (in disputed religious matters) and (Allah disliked) to waste the wealth (by extravagance).…
Prophet (PBUH) also said. “It is one of the greatest sins that a man should curse his parents.” It was asked (by the people), “O Allah’s! How does a man curse his parents?” The Prophet said, “The man abuses the father of another man and the
latter abuses the father of the former and abuses his mother.” (Bukhari 8:4)
And Abu Usayd al-Badri reports that in he Islam was sitting the Holy Prophet (PBUH) when an Ansari came and asked, “O, Prophet, does some right of my parents remain on me even after they have died?” Prophet (PBUH) said, Yes. Praying and
seeking forgiveness for them, fulfilling the promises they had made to someone, being kind and respectful to their friends and showing mercy and generosity to their blood relatives. These are the rights of your parents still due against you, even after them.
Once a man came to the Prophet and said, ‘O Messenger of God! Who among the people is the most worthy of my good company? The Prophet said: Your mother. The man said, ‘Then who?’ The Prophet said: Then your mother. The man further asked, ‘Then who?’ The Prophet said: Then your mother. The man asked again, ‘Then who?’ The Prophet said: Then your father. (Bukhari, Muslim).…
