MSiT Requested Interest-Free Loans for the Islamic Center Trondheim construction project
We are soon starting the final phase of our construction project with an estimated cost of 42 million Kr. To ensure progress, we requested all Muslim community and organizations to contribute through Qarz-e-Hasna (interest-free loan).
Anyone wishing to support this noble cause can enter into a loan agreement for two years or more, with a minimum contribution of NOK 50,000 or more.
So far, we have raised NOK 7.22 million, but we still need an additional NOK 18 million to commence the project.

ISLAMIC CENTER TRONDHEIM – CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
The Muslim community in Trondheim is growing rapidly. To meet the needs of our community and future generations, the mosque administration is rehabilitating and renovating the 265-year-old national heritage building, where the mosque is situated.
The building consists of four floors, currently only the ground floor is in use. Our goal is to restore and renovate 3 floors, creating more space for prayers, weekend school, and community activities.
The estimated total cost of the rehabilitation and renovation project is NOK 72 million. The rehabilitation phase has already been completed at a cost of NOK 30 million, and the renovation phase will soon begin with an estimated cost of NOK 42 million.
We request everyone to give donation for this noble cause. Your generous donations will help us realize this vision — ensuring a better space for our community and future generations.

About Trondheim
Trondheim, with a population of around 200,000 people, is Norway's third largest municipality in terms of population. Islam is the second largest religion in Norway. The Muslim population in Trondheim is around 7,000 (according to a survey from 2019).
Halal food is readily available in various parts of the city. Many Halal restaurants are also available. Besides MST, there are also other small mosques in the city, which gives ample opportunity to the Muslim community to stay close to Allah and Islam.
