Construction Project
In order to fulfill the community's needs, the Muslim community in Trondheim (MSiT) has decided to renovate the 4-storey building in which the mosque is located. The estimated cost of the project is NOK 30 million. MST asks the environment in Norway to participate in this construction project. It is important to mention that the mosque is located in a building that is part of Norwegian cultural heritage. Half of the building was built in 1760 and the other half in 1840. MST currently only uses the first floor of the building. It is our sincere wish to renovate the other floors as well, and thus serve the Trondheim community better. Your generous contribution will help us achieve this.

About Trondheim
Trondheim, with a population of around 200,000 people, is Norway's third largest municipality in terms of population. Islam is the second largest religion in Norway. The Muslim population in Trondheim is around 7,000 (according to a survey from 2019).
Halal food is readily available in various parts of the city. Many Halal restaurants are also available. Besides MST, there are also other small mosques in the city, which gives ample opportunity to the Muslim community to stay close to Allah and Islam.
